London ’25

In April this year, P and I checked out the Saatchi Gallery’s ‘FLOWERS – FLORA IN CONTEMPORARY ART & CULTURE’ exhibition.

The show explored the theme of ‘Flora’ across multiple media throughout the past 100+ years. The broad and somewhat open brief allowed artists to interpret the history of flora and its various representations, transcending time, location and culture.

I’ve never seen so much colour and expression packed into one building in my life. It was like falling into a Pantone colour mixing laboratory and leaving smelling of roses.

The perfect celebration of how truly powerful nature is and the positive hold she has over us.
